Rhodium Catalysts & Rhodium Compounds

     Rhodium catalyst give extremely high activity in hydrogenation of an aromatic compound. It hydrogenates many compounds at room temperature and atmospheric pressure. Normally, a palladium metal catalysts is used for hydrogenation of olefins, but rhodium catalysts give even higher activity than palladium metal catalyst in this reaction.
